How To Stay Afloat

Have you ever had that “sinking” feeling?  I mean that feeling that everything is going awry and that life is getting away from you?  If you have had that feeling, how did you get out of it?  Did you do some specific action, or did you do many actions?  Do you have an action plan that you can share with others?  If you do, please leave a comment on this blog.

Here are three different actions that you can take when life is getting you down.

  1. Change your environment so that the environment that is pulling you down disappears.  People change jobs for this reason.
  2. Examine your attitude toward what is happening.  Then, change your attitude or view.  An example of this is how some people feel about aging.  They dislike it and fight it.  After a time, they may embrace aging because their attitude has shifted.
  3. Do nothing.  Remain with everything exactly the same and hope that something shifts.

What are your thoughts?

Go in peace.
