Joshua JD Lemmens, based in Hope, BC, is a multifaceted individual known for his work in emergency preparedness, Indigenous advocacy, and artisanal crafts. He is actively involved in conducting workshops on
emergency preparedness and survival, helping communities to develop comprehensive plans for various emergency scenarios. In addition to his emergency preparedness activities, Lemmens is an advocate for Indigenous rights and has been involved in discussions about the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) and its implications in Canada. His work aims to educate and empower communities about their rights and the importance of preparedness in all aspects of life.
