Josie has long been a pioneer in the fields of holistic health and spiritual healing. She has taught workshops worldwide for several decades on the subjects of shamanism, healing, and other aspects of spiritual and personal development.
In 1998, Josie RavenWing was one of the first non-Brazilians to experience the now well-known Brazilian spiritual healer Joao de Deus/John of God’s work, and after her life-altering first journey to see him in Brazil, at John’s request and authorization she became the first North American guide to start taking people from outside of Brazil to see him at the Casa de dom Inacio, his healing center in Brazil. As of February 2018, Josie has taken 149 groups of people from all over the world to experience John’s amazing work, doing all she can to help them prepare for the journey in advance, and being of support and guidance while they are there. And at John of God’s request, Josie had accompanied him a number of times over the past 2 decades when he has done his rare healing events outside of Brazil, always overseeing the “blessings” and “spiritual surgeries” rooms at these events at John’s request.
Josie has written an eloquent and powerful book about John’s work, The Book of Miracles: The Healing Work of Joao de Deus, in addition to her other two books: A Season of Eagles and The Return of Spirit: A Woman’s Call to Spiritual Action. Josie’s Presentation: “Miracle Man” John of God, in combination with a healing circle
During this presentation, Josie gives attendees information on John of God/Joao de Deus), her own story of how she met him in 1998 and the various ways in which she has supported his work, information on the various processes of the Casa (John of God’s healing center in Brazil) and examples of healing,, including her own, experienced there. This is a fascinating presentation about a realm about which many people know very little.
Josie will then offer a brief healing meditation to “introduce” participants to some of the Casa energies.
Josie will have numerous blessed crystals and jewelry from the Casa which have been infused with energy for healing and spiritual opening, which make beautiful and unique gifts for yourself and others, as well as copies of her own books and cd’s available for sale at the events. Post Workshop Presentation: An Experience of Healing and Karma/ Ancestor Cleansing
1:00– 4:00 pm Sunday 5/6/18
This unique workshop will consist of two parts, and because the second part is related to the work of Brazilian healer John of God, it is recommended that workshop participants attend Josie’s presentation on John of God on Saturday from 3:30 to 5pm if at all possible, so that they already have an understanding of John’s work.
The first part of this event will be an guided inner healing journey, during which Josie will lead participants through an opportunity to first discover what they most need for their emotional, mental, physical and spiritual well being, and then to clear any “unfinished business/karma” with not only people in this lifetime, but also with ancestors and others from other lifetimes. This is a powerful process with many benefits for the present and future of each participant, and one that Josie initially developed over the years for those people who she took to see John of God, in order to help them deepen their healing.
During the second half of this event, Josie will call upon the “entities,” or spirits of light who work through and around John of God, to assist all attendees. This is a specific kind of work that John of God, incorporated by the Entity Dr. Augusto, asked and authorized Josie to do to help those wishing healing, and she has been doing this for people for about 15 years. Many people who receive this work experience healing and spiritual deepening. Sometimes they also experience what are called “spiritual surgeries” or “interventions.” Josie has felt honored to be able to offer this work to so many people from all over the world.
