Howdy Folks
Here is a story someone sent me. It makes a good point and worth sharing.
A guy looked at my Corvette the other day and said,
“I wonder how many people could have been fed for the money that sports car cost?”
I replied ‘I’m not sure;
it fed a lot of families in Bowling Green, Kentucky who built it,
it fed the people who make the tires,
it fed the people who made the components that went into it,
it fed the people in the copper mine who mined the copper for the wires,
it fed people in at Caterpillar who make the trucks that haul the copper ore.
It fed the trucking people who hauled it from the plant to the dealer
and fed the people working at the dealership and their families.
BUT,… I have to admit, I guess I really don’t know how many people it fed.’’
That is the difference between capitalism and the welfare mentality.
When you buy something, you put money in people’s pockets and give them dignity for their skills.
When you give someone something for nothing, you rob them of their dignity and self-worth.
Capitalism is freely giving your money in exchange for something of value.
Socialism is having the government take your money against your will and give it to someone else for doing nothing.
Yes, the Raymon Grace Foundation has fed kids this year who didn’t have enough to eat on weekends~~ and will likely do so again. The school fed them during the week.
No, I don’t know why they didn’t have food. Maybe the parents had no job, or bought alcohol and drugs instead of food for the kids. Whatever the reason, the kids were hungry, so we donated money to the school to give the kids food to take home on Friday and hopefully feed them til Monday.
YOU FOLKS made this possible by supporting the Energy Clearing. You got the energy in your home cleared EVERY morning and good tasting water. And we were able to feed kids and made some donations to some who lost everything in the big flood.
YES, I THANKED you before and am THANKING YOU again.
The Tucson Dowsers asked people to send short stories about what they learned from me and used it to help other people.
It isn’t about what I did for YOU, it is what YOU did with the information~to help someone else.
Over 50 people sent their stories included in this attachment to save space on this letter. (Click the button below)
The names of the people have been removed as I wasn’t sure you wanted your name listed.
I REALLY APPRECIATE all you folks who sent your stories and am THANKFUL to have been of help to you. THANKS to the Tucson Dowsers for doing this.
Enjoy the Holidays
Raymon
