President’s Message
Merry Christmas and Happy Solstice Fellow Questers!
Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who helped to create a fabulous fall conference in Salmon Arm. Special thanks go to our Board of Directors and Anar Kassem who each worked with great dedication throughout 2017. We look forward to welcoming new Quester members on board the volunteer train in 2018 to continue our journey of co-creating our vibrant, global community that preserves, practises and shares dowsing and ancient wisdoms for the wellness of all.
The above Vision Statement was created by your Board this year and ratified by our membership at the AGM. We wanted to find a succinct way to tell others what we as Questers do. I’ve found this statement to be very helpful in providing a one-liner to folks who ask me what CSQ is. The funny thing is that each time I mention Questers in passing conversation, people seem to pick up on it and genuinely inquire as to what Questers is. I do truly believe that people are hungry for the spirit of what Questers offer. Please share it freely and guide them to the website for a greater connection.
Many exciting things are being discussed for CSQ in 2018 and beyond. The committees which began last year will be gaining momentum in 2018. Carl Calleman, teacher of Ian Lungold, predicted that the energetic shift commencing around 2012 would take about 5 years to begin manifesting in earnest. With so much change and disclosure happening globally this past year, I expect to witness marvelous new openings this coming year and I expect Questers to help manifest these creative possibilities.
A spring conference is being planned for May in the Calgary, AB region. The theme will align with the current cosmic energies of transition and change: expansion. More details will be sent via our faithful membership secretary Serah Roer as they become available.
This year we will be partnering with Spaced Out Radio for our fall conference to be held at the Hills Resort in 108 Mile House… revisiting our Caribou roots. Our intent in this partnership is to share Quester opportunities with the younger generation who are avid listeners to Spaced Out Radio– check it out online. There is great paranormal history in this area including ghost walks and UFO sightings. More to come in the spring journal…
We continue working on our new journal format with the hope that volunteers will gladly print off articles for our non-emailing members. We invite you to participate in our online blog (www.questers.ca), adding your thoughts and stories to others. We want to hear about your paranormal experiences! Our blog master, Judith Hirst, invites you to share fascinating and relevant articles from other sources also, of course with permission and giving credit for photos.
Look for updates on committee activities and other developments in the next membership letter. Meanwhile, I wish you good health, happiness and many exciting discoveries in 2018. Happy Questing!
Namaste,
Jacquelyn Rose
