On June 1 2023 holistic practitioner, Nancy Tyler, from Pitt Meadows BC on our monthly Questers Zoom Conference Call talked about Biomagnetism. She has had clinical success with the non invasive treatments. The two hour Zoom call was not recorded. She mentioned YouTube videos by Dr. Luis F. Garcia MD from Colombia as a good way to understand the theory and techniques.

The Essence of Sound by Evelyn Mulders
Full Spectrum Vibrational Healing for the Meridians, Chakras, Auric Fields, and Figure Eight Energies.
Evelyn Mulders has been part of Questers for twenty years and using Kinesiology in Healing in a variety of modalities. She did a Zoom presentation in 2020 for The Canadian Society of Questers on Sound Essence.
Sound Essence is a Shamanic Journey undertaken by Evelyn to bring all healing modalities together through muscles testing, dowsing and psychic insights.
At this time, a lot of designing is Computer Assisted Design (CAD). Evelyn has gone a step further using all facilities of Consciousness Assisted Design using Quantum Computing of the body/mind and Photonic Computing of the soul/spirit. This far deeper than binary code on silicon chips of mathematical models of life processes. This Life itself to help life and health in people. Sound Essence is full spectrum holistic healing not a narrow reductionist treatment.
Medical Disclaimer: Sound Essence and its products are not intended as a substitute for medical recommendations from physicians and other health-care providers. Rather it is intended to offer information to assist the user to participate and co-operate with physicians and health professionals in a mutual quest for optimum well-being.
Evelyn uses sound, fragrance, crystals, sacred geometry, and focused intent into water bringing everything together for a healthy effect. Many hours of muscle testing with many different people were used to develop Sound Essences.
The human body is not just a physical chemical storehouse. It is a projection of higher consciousness through many bodies inter-nesting to work within physicality. This is the Shamanic model or Matryoshka model of blended energies, substances and consciousnesses.
Congratulations to Evelyn.

Fellow Questers, I want to remind you that we live in a mystical universe that responds to us. Not mere random biological lifeforms, we are connected by Consciousness to each other, our environments, and that which is the source of Consciousness.
The ability to dowse, as we all know, is a living demonstration of our connection to this field. We have the opportunity at this time in history to consciously draw upon and to put into the field that which we would like to manifest for ourselves, our communities and our future. Virtually all news sources are encouraging us to be afraid; and we all know that being in a state of fear lowers one’s immune defenses. I encourage you to find ways of being extra loving to yourself and others, and to project or pray or do ceremony to inject more love into mass Consciousness. All emotions are derivatives of either love or fear. Choose wisely!
We continue to plan for our 2020 Fall Conference in Salmon Arm BC featuring Hon. Paul Hellyer as our keynote presenter. Visioning the future we want to see is the theme of this years conference, as is this blog of encouraging thoughts of love and prosperity rather than fear and dis-ease during these uncertain times.
2020 is our Membership Drive year. Not everyone is a Quester, but there are a great many Questers out there who do not know about the Canadian Society of Questers. There are people lonely for like minded individuals who are willing to consider and explore unconventional ideas. Help them find us! Please talk to your friends about joining CSQ and supporting the active sharing of powerful information to enhance our lives. Use facebook and social media to share blogs like this one. www.questers.ca
Wishing you good thoughts, safety, and excellent well being.
Jacquelyn Rose,
current president of the Canadian Society of Questers
Evelyn Rattray
I first heard of Evelyn Rattray in 2003 at Raymon Grace’s dowsing school at the Hansen property on Swan Lake in Vernon BC. Raymon and Evelyn had worked together on First Nation’s reserves across Canada to break through the multigenerational trauma caused by the residential school system. Through dowsing Raymon would identify key components of the trauma and Evelyn using native shamanism would reach inside the person and release the abuse.
Evelyn born in Telegraph Creek BC to a long line of native healers was able to avoid the worst of the residential school system hidden away in the bush by her parents and grandparents. She was taught in the native traditions but did not receive full training as her mother passed away early. Evelyn laments that she missed key aspects only her mother could have taught her. In spite of that she has done a lot of wonderful work.
Evelyn moved from Telegraph Creek to Salmon Arm BC to be nearer to Kelowna’s International Airport as she is constantly being called to do healing work worldwide.
She spoke at the 2017 Quester’s Fall Conference in the Prestige Inn in Salmon Arm about her work and the difficulties imposed on the First Nations. She had a question and answer session with a room full of Questers. What one sees in Evelyn is gentleness and humility. She is soft spoken and caring.
Looking at her eyes one sees her staring off into the distance as if her eyes are focused on infinity. It is as if she can see the time when the First Nations will reacquire its lost traditions and greatness. Breaking the trauma she may have brought that day closer.

Richard Coutts
Richard Coutts from Calgary Alberta was a gifted dowser. I heard stories of the many people he had helped. His job in a senior’s residence gave him many opportunities to help and to heal others. I was not able to attend any of his presentations as most of his teaching was prior to 2003. What I was able to witness was his friendship with Isabel Stadnicki during a trip to 100 Mile House a year before he died.
Richard was the one who would drive Isabel to Quester’s Conferences. He would drive from Calgary to Sicamous to pick up Isabel and take her wherever she needed to go. I was lucky to catch a ride in the back jump seat of Richard’s small pick-up truck and listen to their conversation about people and events related to healing work they had done separately and together.
During the four hour trip Richard would take his right hand off the steering wheel and make a small clockwise circular motion with his hand. During the trip he did that dozens of times. He was performing a healing. My feeling was as if St. Francis of Assisi was blessing a small bird that alit onto his sleeve. Isabel would look his way and nod in agreement. Was he also preventing accidents on the highway? Was he evening out the ragged energies of ley lines crossed? Whatever he was doing felt sacred.
At one point travelling north from Kamloops on Highway 5, I mentioned to Isabel that the blue glass she had dowsed for me was working and reading was easier and I was stuttering less. Her colour therapy was working. That caught Richard’s attention and he asked a bunch of questions about this problem.
At Little Fort Richard stopped at a convenience store and both Richard and Isabel pulled out their pendulum and worked on a further healing. It was as if they were rewiring my brain. It was a strong healing. The next hour and half to 100 Mile House I was quiet as Richard continued blessing the road or whatever he was blessing.
When I heard that Richard had died my first though was that he had removed all his karma and ascended. Maybe he had ascended.

Isabel Stadnicki
Isabel Stadnicki is a dowser who used her pendulum for healing. She worked as an Registered Nurse in the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops after WWII. Somehow she gained the trust of one of the physicians she worked under and provided him with accurate diagnosis of the incoming patients.
The physician would look at the patient and not see the problem. He would whisper to Isabel that he needed help and she would go into a nearby vacant room and pull out her pendulum. A few minutes later Isabel would whisper to the doctor what she uncovered. The doctor would continue the examination following the guidance from Isabel and then prescribe the best treatment for that condition.
The doctor gained a considerable reputation for correct diagnosis and treatments. RNs at that time were not allowed to diagnose. Isabel had to remain quiet about what she was doing. Likewise the doctor had to protect Isabel as well as himself from those who would dismiss dowsing as nonsense. It has improved a bit since 1945 but still there is institutional opposition to alternate medical practices.
Another place where she was exposed to criticism was in Vernon where she recognized that dyslexia could be cured using colour therapy. She was helping an elementary teacher with first and second grade students who were having trouble reading.
Isabel was guided by her pendulum to see there were developmental abnormalities in the brains of the children. She when would then dowse over a diagram of the brain and determine which part of the brain was delayed in development. Then she would dowse which colour could be used to heal the brain. She then found tinted glass and told the child to look through the glass for twenty minutes or so each day. Within a short while the child was reading normally.
The colour therapy worked on all who used it. The Vernon class of slow learners soon was ahead of the other classes in their age group. The other teachers complained and then authorities in the school moved to stop the practice and forbid the teacher from using Isabel’s services.
Isabel continued to use colour therapy to great success to this day. She is alive and well living in Sicamous BC.

I was having a discussion about life and particularly, the way life is now playing out with a good friend. She said to me, what if our soul wants us to die now. The thought took me so by surprise that I was speechless! She asked me if I was okay. I said that I was, but that the idea of our soul wanting us to die, ultimately so that we can move on to other things, simply got my mind churning away on new ideas.
I remembered the poem, “Invictus”, and I wondered whether indeed we were the captains of our own souls. My thought is that once we reach a high level of vibration, then our earthly soul merges with our higher self, and it doesn’t really matter.
Invictus
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
-William Ernest Henley
May you and your soul be filled with peace!

All we need is the morning.
As long as there is sunrise,
then there is the possibility
that we can face all of our misfortunes,
celebrate all our blessings,
and live all our endeavors as human beings.
Spirituality is something that has become
necessary in these troubled times.
Yet it is inherently superfluous.
We need it to remind ourselves,
to bolster ourselves,
to integrate ourselves,
to fulfill ourselves.
If we could simply acknowledge
the mystery of night
and the glory of morning,
we would need neither civilization nor spirituality.
At its simplest, life begins with dawn.
That is blessing enough.
All else becomes fullness immeasurable.
At dawn, kneel down and give thanks
for this wonderful event.
We may think mornings are so common
they are unworthy of veneration,
but do you realize most places in the cosmos
do not have mornings?
This daily event is our supreme goodness.
Greet the dawn.
That is your miracle to witness.
That is the ultimate beauty.
That is sacredness.
That is your gift from heaven.
That is your omen of prophesy.
That is knowledge that life is not futile.
That is enlightenment.
That is your meaning in life.
That is your directive.
That is your comfort.
That is the solemnity of duty.
That is inspiration for compassion.
That is the light of the ultimate.”
-Deng Ming-Dao
May you walk in peace this day.

To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out to others is to risk involvement.
To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self.
To place your ideas, your dreams before a crowd is to risk their loss.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To live is to risk dying.
To hope is to risk despair.
To try is to risk failure.
But risks must be taken, because the greatest hazard in life is to do nothing.
The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, and is nothing.
They may avoid suffering and sorrow, but they cannot learn, feel, change, grow, love, live.
Chained by their attitudes, they are a slave, they forfeited their freedom.
Only the person who risks can be free!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I saw this poem years ago when I was leaving my full time job, and thinking about becoming a healing facilitator and teacher. The words, the message, stopped me! I wondered how many times some people see the humour in everything and laugh while the rest of the room wonders what they are laughing about. I wondered too, how many people walk by those needing help because they did not want to become involved. As I read through the poem a second and a third time, I wondered who had penned this very precise declaration of the human drama – showing both sides of mankind in a way that celebrates and chastens at the same time.
I read this and I wanted to be one of the ones who risks to do something and grow from it. I want to live my life alive, with no regrets.
May you find the courage to take a risk today.
I have four friends tell me that I expect too much of them. This makes me laugh because I expect them to be exactly as they are… imperfect humans. I realize that they have an expectation that they must be at their best when they are around me. I am not sure where that expectation came from. Perhaps it is a carry-over from their child hood.
These inaccurate expectations have caused our friendship to slip sideways. They feel it is too much pressure. Whether the expectation is real or not, it does cause problems. I believe that we all have expectations of people, of work, of sporting events, of family dinners, and of our family. Our expectations come from the way we see our perfect world, without any thought to the truism that perfection does not exist. In other words, we create our own reality with our expectations and then we are sad when the reality does not happen.
Moving forward, are you able to give up or at least cut back on your expectations?
Spring is a time of freshness and the feeling of release. For many people, it is a time of rebirthing their creativity and that feeling of freedom that seems to die when we are socked in by snow (lots of snow!) and cold.
I have a friend that is ill with a “yet to be determined if it is fatal” liver disease. She has been a very active person all of her life. She is still working, but limits her activities to her work and what she absolutely needs to do at home.
She was telling me that regardless of how low she feels, often, when she dozes, she feels like she is a like a hawk, soaring through the air, looking down on the world. In those moments, she says, she is healthy and strong, and she feels that she will overcome anything that life throws at her.
When she shared these thoughts with me, I felt that her spirit was soaring and reminding her body that there was much left to do and many reasons to work to being healthy. Her smile as she said the words convinced me that she will persevere.
May you walk in peace.
Have you noticed that you do not laugh as much as you used to? Is it because you have forgotten how? Or, is it because nothing is funny?
I think that when we do not laugh, we age more quickly and we pick up viruses more easily. If you think that I am wrong, ask yourself why the book series – “Laughter is The Best Medicine” – has been so successful!
The web site – https://www.helpguide.org/articles/mental-health/laughter-is-the-best-medicine.htm/ lists the following benefits of laughing.
Laughter relaxes the whole body. A good, hearty laugh relieves physical tension and stress, leaving your muscles relaxed for up to 45 minutes after.
Laughter boosts the immune system. Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease.
Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain.
Laughter protects the heart. Laughter improves the function of blood vessels and increases blood flow, which can help protect you against a heart attack and other cardiovascular problems.
Laughter burns calories. OK, so it’s no replacement for going to the gym, but one study found that laughing for 10 to 15 minutes a day can burn approximately 40 calories—which could be enough to lose three or four pounds over the course of a year.
Laughter lightens anger’s heavy load. Nothing diffuses anger and conflict faster than a shared laugh. Looking at the funny side can put problems into perspective and enable you to move on from confrontations without holding onto bitterness or resentment.
Laughter may even help you to live longer. A study in Norway found that people with a strong sense of humor outlived those who don’t laugh as much. The difference was particularly notable for those battling cancer.
So, today, start laughing.
Walk in peace.
At the 2018 Fall Conference in 100 Mile House British Columbia, one of the speakers was Joe Amaral Joe is a full time Healing Facilitator at Body Connection in Williams Lake, B.C. https://www.facebook.com/bodyconnectionbyjoe/ Joe talked about the benefits of Blackstrap molasses and why we should eat a tablespoonful everyday. I tried his recommendation, and, I was very surprised at the results. No more leg and foot cramping. Skin grew softer. My hair started a growth spurt.
Here is what you need to know.
Blackstrap molasses isn’t the stuff you want to use for your baking, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t consume it. The biggest difference between this molasses and the regular molasses you buy at the store is its bitter taste. There are also a lot more nutrients in blackstrap molasses.
A one tablespoon (20 g) serving of this dark treacle contains:
This listing of benefits is a general one, and does not pretend to give sound medical advice. Always, if you have a health issue, see your doctor. There is a lot of information written about the benefits of blackstrap molasses so it is easy to research and find the details of the benefits.
Trying a healthy food sometimes takes courage. Blackstrap molasses has a strong taste so for some, it is easier to take it stirred into warm or hot water.
Try it. See if you notice a difference.
Walk in peace.
Sometimes, one needs inspiration, just to get through a tough time. Sometimes, that tough time is the inspiration. Lots of us have day to day challenges at work, at home, with health, with family, with addictions and with lack of sleep.
All of these situations interfere with us making the most of our life because we focus on what is wrong instead of what is right in our world. This focus is a tough habit to change.
I read an article in Forbes magazine. Here is the line that stuck with me….
You control everything that’s important in your life: You control your thoughts. You are in control of your dreams and aspirations.
The power of that line is that “you are in control” and not anyone else. So, if you are having a tough day, you are in control. Change it!
Walk in peace.
