Working on Who You Are

We often have a preconceived idea of who we are.  It comes from how our family treats us and how the world outside the family treats us.  Soon, it becomes our identity.  Many times, it is a false identity.

When people tell us who we are, or tell us what we think and what we are to do for career/life, we abdicate our own inner passions.  It happens all the time.  We end up being lazy about establishing our own life.  And, in doing so, we do a dis-service to the Universe.  The Universe helped us get here so that we could make our own mark.

This year, spend some time with yourself, and determine if you are who you want to be, or, if you are someone that others created.

Walk in peace.
