STOP! A Meditation by OSHO

Just as you have the impulse to do something, stop.

You can try it anywhere. You are taking your bath ― suddenly order yourself to “Stop!” and stop. Even if it is only for a single moment, you will feel a different phenomenon happening within you. You are thrown to the center and suddenly everything stops ― not only the body. When the body stops totally, your mind stops also.

When you say, “Stop!” do not breathe then. Let everything stop…no breathing, no body movement. For a single moment remain in this stop, and you will feel you have penetrated suddenly, at rocket speed, to the center. And even a glimpse is miraculous, revolutionary. It changes you, and by and by you can have more clear glimpses of the center. That is why inactivity is not to be practiced. Use it suddenly, when you are unaware.

For example, you were going to drink a glass of water. You have touched the water, the glass ― suddenly stop. Let the hand be there, let the desire to drink, the thirst be there inside, but you stop completely. The glass is outside, the thirst is inside; the hand is on the glass, the eyes are on the glass ― stop suddenly. No breathing, no movement, as if you have become dead. The very impulse, the thirst, will release energy, and that energy is used for going to the center. You will be thrown to the center. Why? Because any impulse is a movement outward. Energy is always in movement ― either going out or coming in. Energy can never be static.

Remember three things…. One, try it only when a real impulse is there. Secondly, do not think about stopping, just stop. And thirdly, wait! When you have stopped, no breathing, no movement ― wait and see what happens. When I say stop, it means stop totally, fully. Nothing is moving, as if the whole time has stopped. There is no movement ― simply you are! In that simple existence, suddenly the center explodes.

Picture of Bach Rescue Remedy in all its forms

I first heard of Bach Rescue Remedy from a friend and neighbour.  I came back from the Philippines with an illness that turned out to be a form of malaria, and I was sick!  With sickness comes feelings of hopelessness, helplessness, and reclusiveness.   Sally promised me that if I tried Rescue Remedy, I would start to feel different and better in a week.  I went and bought a bottle of the drops.  My house has never been without it since.

Here are some of the Rescue miracles.  Most involve one to five drops on the tongue.

This sounds like a pretty interesting product, doesn’t it?

Well, Dr. Bach created a whole system of remedies like this one, called The Bach Flower Remedy System.  The System includes many remedies in addition to the Rescue Remedy which is also called “The traditional crisis remedy”.  The following comes from the Bach Centre website – http://www.bachcentre.com/index.php.

It (the Rescue Remedy)  is the most famous of the remedies, but in fact is not ‘a remedy’ at all. Instead it’s a blend of five different remedies:

  • Rock Rose
  • Impatiens
  • Cherry Plum
  • Star of Bethlehem
  • Clematis

This mix was created by Dr Bach to deal with emergencies and crises – the moments when there is no time to make a proper individual selection of remedies. It can be used to help us get through any stressful moments, from last-minute exam nerves to the aftermath of an accident.

There is a complete list of the original Bach Remedies, what they are, and how to take them, on the Bach Centre website.  Check it out, and let me know what your favorite remedy is.

Since the spring equinox, people have been complaining that they are having trouble sleeping.  It may be trouble falling asleep, or waking up at 1:30ish, and not being able to go back to sleep.

If you have trouble sleeping, try this very simple, natural remedy.

Usually, we are kept awake by unnecessary troubling thoughts. The best way to get to sleep, then, is to close your eyes, and then to begin rubbing your hands together. Feel them get warmer and warmer. If you don’t really feel the heat, use your imagination in believing that they are getting warmer.

The more active your thoughts, the more active the hand rubbing needs to be. Rub the hands really fast and make the hands really hot. As you concentrate on this process, you will feel your head clear from all its activity. The energy has transferred to your hands. Your right hand is joining with your left brain, and your left hand is joined with your right brain. The two polarities are united. When the hands become warm, the head becomes cool and one can relax and sleep!

Editor: This remedy comes from natural solutions suggested by Osho. This suggestion for getting to sleep does not replace or is not a substitute for medical advice from your doctor.

Walk in peace!

Live It Well

You know, time has a way of moving quickly and catching you unaware of the passing years. It seems just yesterday that I was a young girl/boy, just married and embarking on my new life with my mate.  And yet in a way, it seems like eons ago, and I wonder where all the years went.  I know that I lived them all…  And I have glimpses of how it was back then and of all my hopes and dreams… But, here it is…the winter of my life and it catches me by surprise…

How did I get here so fast? Where did the years go and where did my babies go? And where did my youth go?

I remember well… seeing older people through the years and thinking that those older people were years away from me and that winter was so far off that I could not fathom it or imagine fully what it would be like…

But, here it is… husband retired and he’s really getting gray… he moves slower and I see an older man now. He’s in much better shape than me… but, I see the great change…  Not the one I married who was dark and young and strong… but, like me, his age is beginning to show and we are now those older folks that we used to see and never thought we’d be.

Each day now, I find that just getting a shower is a real target for the day! And taking a nap is not a treat anymore… it’s mandatory! Cause if I don’t on my own free will… I just fall asleep where I sit!

And so, now I enter into this new season of my life unprepared for all the aches and pains and the loss of strength and ability to go and do things.
But, at least I know, that though the winter has come, and I’m not sure how long it will last… This I know, that when it’s over…its over…. Yes , I have regrets. There are things I wish I hadn’t done ,,,,, things I should have done …. But indeed, there are many things I’m happy to have done …. It’s all in a lifetime…
So, if you’re not in your winter yet… let me remind you, that it will be here faster than you think. So, whatever you would like to accomplish in your life please do it quickly!

Life goes by quickly …So, do what you can today, because you can never be sure whether this is your winter or not! You have no promise that you will see all the seasons of your life…  so, live for good today and say all the things that you want your loved ones to remember…

“Life is a gift to you. The way you live your life is your gift to those who came after. Make it a fantastic one.”
LIVE IT WELL!!

It is the beginning of June. We are coming up the the summer solstice on June 21st.  Traditionally, the crops and gardens are planted and we are in high growing season.  So, it is time to look at what we are doing to keep ourselves growing physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.

What are you doing to prepare for the summer?   When you are sitting in meditation, why not release one bad habit that plagues you? Bad habits are like wearing chains. These are the “weeds” of our lives. Each of us carries a habit that may have served us for a while, and now is having detrimental effects on our lives.

Releasing a Habit

Create sacred space by calling in the Angels to be with you and keep you safe while you do sacred work.  Simply sit quietly, and breath in and out on a three count cycle. When your breathing is regular and comfortable, say out loud:  “I freely give up my habit of ________ and I ask the Angels and Great Spirit (substitute the name that you are most comfortable using – God, Jehovah, etc.) take this habit, and take it to the Sun to be cleansed. I offer this request, without any qualifications or strings attached.”

Now, breath deeply and clearly, drawing in sunlight on the in breath, and releasing the habit on the out breath.  This process may take fifteen minutes, or longer. Do not rush it.  When you think you are clear, stop, and check in to see if you can feel the habit.  If you can, continue.  If not, then stop and give thanks.  Release sacred space.

***

That’s it!  That is all you have to do.  And, keep meditating.  It is a great habit.

Walk in peace.

Funny thing… we want to please the people that we like.  Because we have that need, we pay attention to what we wear, what we eat, what we say, what we do, and even, what we work.

Because we want to please that one person, we are the sheep to their lion (or substitute wolf, tiger, etc.)

When we finally move beyond craving that approval, we move to a place where we see ourselves, and not how others see us.

This is a huge step to freedom.

Moving, changing, learning become so much easier because we do not have to look from the shadows to see what we should be doing.

We own what we do.

We hear the truth in our words, as do others.

We become strong.

We become free.

Walk in peace.

The conversation began with, “I don’t think that I am smart enough to do …..”

That’s all I heard.  I confess.  I was eavesdropping.  When I heard those words my first thought was – Of course you cannot do it if you think that you cannot!  And then my mind went tripping away on a discussion of self esteem.   I thought about what I knew.  To be sure that I was defining it properly, I looked the words up in the dictionary, the Oxford dictionary to be exact.

https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/ – self-esteem NOUN

  • Confidence in one’s own worth or abilities; self-respect.

    ‘assertiveness training for those with low self-esteem’

I thought about all the people that I know that have trouble with their self-esteem. I thought about how people change their self view.  In life, we need to have confidence in our ability to make the right decisions/choices to help us move through life.  When an opportunity comes up, it is a doorway to something new.  Not taking the door may close on a chance to make a life change.

I remembered a class that I taught on assessing one’s self.  There were ten simple questions to answer. The answers were: a) much of the time   b) some of the time  c) almost never.  (Remember, there are many ways to assess self-esteem.  There are other quizzes, counsellors, or professionals that can give you a much more definitive answer than this short little test.  This is not to replace professional advice or counselling.)

The questions are:

  1. My feelings are easily hurt.
  2. I get very upset if someone criticizes me, even if it is “constructive criticism.”
  3. I feel angry at myself if I make a mistake, even if it is an “honest mistake.”
  4. Instead of making decisions by myself, I usually ask other people what they think I should do.
  5. I usually go along with the group, even if I don’t really agree.
  6. I feel uncomfortable when someone gives me a compliment.
  7. I feel as if I don’t “measure up.” I never feel good enough.
  8. I frequently say negative things to myself, like telling myself I am stupid or fat or just no good.
  9. I don’t like what I see when I look in the mirror. I feel I am very unattractive.
  10. I find myself apologizing for things a lot, even things that aren’t really my fault.

As you might imagine, the more “almost never” answers that you have means that you are quite confident in yourself and your abilities to make good choices.  If your had the answer “some of the time” to many of the questions, then you seem to have a pessimistic view of yourself and your ability to make choices.  Some good coaching can get you back on track.  The answer “much of the time” to many of these questions, then you do not have a good self view, and you lack clarity in making choices.  Self work, coaching, and/or counselling will help change your outlook.

I am a fan of Louise Hay.  I love her affirmations.  Here is a set of affirmations for positive self-esteem.  Try saying or writing the affirmations out twenty-one times each over a period of twenty-one days.  Yes, twenty-one.  Research has shown that repetition over a twenty-one day stretch is what is required to change a habit, view, or belief.  Self-esteem is a belief system. You can change your beliefs.

Positive Affirmations for Self-Esteem

I am totally adequate for all situations.
I choose to feel good about myself. I am worthy of my own love.
I stand on my own two feet. I accept and use my own power.
It is safe for me to speak up for myself.
It does not matter what other people say or do. What matters is how I choose to react and what I choose to believe about myself.
I willingly release any need for struggle or suffering. I deserve all that is good.
Life supports me in every possible way.
I am wonderful, and I feel great. I am grateful for my life.
I have the self-esteem, power, and confidence to move forward in life with ease.
I am a radiant being, enjoying life to the fullest.

I am finished with my discussion on self-esteem.  Thanks for listening.

Many blessings.

The following article is an excerpt from  “Take a Mindful Moment: 5 Simple Practices for Daily Life” by By Parneet Pal, Carley Hauck, Elisha Goldstein, Kyra Bobinet and Cara Bradley | May 10, 2018 from the blog on Mindful.Org.  To read the rest of this article, go to https://www.mindful.org/take-a-mindful-moment-5-simple-practices-for-daily-life/.  Reprinted under the Creative Commons Sharing License.

Wakeup: Start with a Purpose

Intention refers to the underlying motivation for everything we think, say, or do. From the brain’s perspective, when we act in unintended ways, there’s a disconnect between the faster, unconscious impulses of the lower brain centers and the slower, conscious, wiser abilities of the higher centers like the pre-frontal cortex.

Given that the unconscious brain is in charge of most of our decision-making and behaviors, this practice can help you align your conscious thinking with a primal emotional drive that the lower centers care about. Beyond safety, these include motivations like reward, connection, purpose, self-identity and core values.

Setting an intention—keeping those primal motivations in mind—helps strengthen this connection between the lower and higher centers. Doing so can change your day, making it more likely that your words, actions and responses— especially during moments of difficulty—will be more mindful and compassionate.

This practice is best done first thing in the morning, before checking phones or email.

1. On waking, sit in your bed or a chair in a relaxed posture. Close your eyes and connect with the sensations of your seated body. Make sure your spine is straight, but not rigid.

2. Take three long, deep, nourishing breaths—breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth. Then let your breath settle into its own rhythm, as you simply follow it in and out, noticing the rise and fall of your chest and belly as you breathe.

3. Ask yourself: “What is my intention for today?” Use these prompts to help answer that question, as you think about the people and activities you will face. Ask yourself:

How might I show up today to have the best impact?

What quality of mind do I want to strengthen and develop?

What do I need to take better care of myself?

During difficult moments, how might I be more compassionate to others and myself?

How might I feel more connected and fulfilled?

4. Set your intention for the day. For example, “Today, I will be kind to myself; be patient with others; give generously; stay grounded; persevere; have fun; eat well,” or anything else you feel is important.

5. Throughout the day, check in with yourself. Pause, take a breath, and revisit your intention. Notice, as you become more and more conscious of your intentions for each day, how the quality of your communications, relationships, and mood shifts.

Behaviorists tell us that for every action there is a re-action, and then the reaction becomes the action for the next re-action, and so forth. Humans are funny creatures. We are part of the natural order (nature’s order of things). However, for some reason, we believe that we are outside the rules of nature. Therefore, many times we re-act to what we think is an attack. We interpret an action as an act of aggression. Our reason or excuse for most actions is that “this person wronged me by “doing” a certain activity or by saying certain words. How many of you have witnessed a child acting out aggression because the other child “touched” them?

While many of us will fight based on an action, many of us would just as soon flee. We feel threatened by an action, and rather than fight to protect our position, we leave the area as soon as we can. There is truth in the saying “He who flees or runs away lives to fight another day”. Yes the expression is changed with poetic license, but the message is clear. So what is the right thing to do, fight or not?

The right answer would be to figure out what it is that you fear, and deal with that before you either strike out at the person you perceive is wronging you or flee, leaving the person bewildered by your sudden action. Our ego exists simply for our protection, and many times sets us up to fail by prohibiting us from moving forward and dealing with fear. The exception would be when a person is fighting in a war and taking orders to fight or retreat.

It is for that reason that many of us consult angel oracle cards. The more we know, the more we can move forward with a more expansive response than just fighting or running away. Taking an action and analyzing it helps one make better decisions and gives one a safe environment in which to try new responses.

Prophecy is a set of possibilities based on the current trend of actions and responses. The accuracy of the prophecy increases as people lose the fear around the unknown. For example, would your response to being jilted by lover change if you already knew that a more suitable lover was on the way, and that your life would be much happier if you move beyond the current love? Most people will respond, “Of course you’d be happier!”

It follows then that the sorrow and grieving that may follow a break up will be minimized dramatically, leaving the person clear to move on to other things. How many of us have carried sorrow and grief, like a boat anchor, from an action that we perceived as a “bad” thing? If this is true for relationships, would it not also be true of career, family, life purpose, and even finding hidden talent? When will you change your fight or flight response? The angels suggest that now would be a good time.

Go in peace.

Saying good-bye to a home or space is an important part of moving forward. It gives us a sense of completion.

When we move from one residence to another, we often get so caught up in the forward thrust of where we are going that we forget to properly say good-bye to the home we are leaving behind. Yet saying good-bye is an important part of moving forward. It gives us a sense of completion so that we are able to fully inhabit our new space, having left nothing of ourselves behind in the old one. In this way, we honor the space that has held and nurtured us. At the same time, we cleanse it and empty it of our energy so that the new residents can make the space theirs.

Plan a walk through your home that begins and ends at the front door. Ideally, you will be alone or accompanied only by a person who shared the space with you. Prepare yourself mentally to be as present as you can during this process. As you enter the house, you might say, “I have come to thank you for being my home and to say goodbye.” You might touch the walls with your hands as you move through the house, or you might burn sage as an offering, as well as an energy cleanser.

Spend some time in each room expressing your gratitude and gathering or releasing any lingering energy from the room. As you do this, you are freeing your home to embrace its new occupants. Remember to visit your outside spaces as well. Plants are especially sensitive to the energy around them and will appreciate your consideration.

As you make your way back to the front door, know that you have completed your final journey through your home and that you have honored and blessed it with this ritual of farewell. As you close and lock the door behind you, say one last good-bye. Now you can walk freely into your future and fully inhabit the new spaces that will keep you safe and warm.

Go in peace.

Over time, “things” come and go from our lives.  However, if you are like me, there are some things that really are hard to let go of.  These “things” have a value as a special gift from a special someone, or as a symbol for something you have endured.  We are hard pressed to part with some of these “things”.  The Buddhists say that one of the issues holding us back is “attachment”.

Here is a teaching story from www.buddhanet.net that talks about attachment.  My guides led me to this story to help explain why I need to let go of one or two important things in my life…

THE STORY OF THE SHOVEL WISEMAN

Once upon a time, the Enlightenment Being was born into a family of vegetable gardeners. After he grew up he cleared a patch of land with his shovel. He grew herbs, pumpkins, melons, cucumbers and other vegetables. These he sold to earn a humble living.

The shovel was his one and only possession in the whole world. He carried it in the same way a forest monk carries his walking staff. So he became known as the ‘Shovel Wise Man’.

One day he thought, “What good does it do me to live the ordinary everyday life of a gardener? I will give up this life and go meditate in the forest. Then I will be peaceful and happy.” So the Shovel Wise Man hid his one possession, his shovel, and became a forest meditator.

Before too long, he started thinking about his only possession, his shovel. He was so attached to this shovel that he couldn’t get it out of his mind, no matter how hard he tried! Trying to meditate seemed useless, so he gave it up. He returned to his shovel and his ordinary life as a vegetable gardener.

Lo and behold, in a little while the Shovel Wise Man again gave up the everyday life, hid his shovel and became a forest meditator. Again he could not get his shovel out of his mind, and returned to being a gardener. All in all, this happened six times!

The next time the Shovel Wise Man gave up his forest meditation, he finally realized it was because of his old worn out shovel that he had gone back and forth seven times! So he decided to throw it away, once and for all, in a deep river. Then he would return to the forest for good.

He took his shovel down to the riverbank. He thought, “Let me not see where this shovel enters the water. Otherwise it may tempt me again to give up my quest.” So he closed his eyes, swung the shovel in a circle over his head three times, and let it fly into the midst of the river. Realizing that he would never be able to find the shovel again, he shouted, just like a lion roars, “I have conquered! I have conquered! I have conquered!”

It just so happened that the King of Benares was riding by at that very moment. He was returning from putting down a revolt in a border village. He had bathed in the river, and had just seated himself on his magnificent royal elephant. He was riding back to Benares in a victory procession.

When he heard the triumphant shouts of the Enlightenment Being, he said to his ministers, “Listen. Who is shouting, just like a lion roars, ‘I have conquered’? Whom has he conquered? Bring that man to me!”

When they brought the Shovel Wise Man to him, the king said, “I am a conqueror because I have won a battle. You say that you have conquered. Whom did you conquer?”

The Enlightenment Being replied, “Your lordship, even if you conquer a hundred thousand armies, they are meaningless victories if you still have unwholesome thoughts and desires in your own mind! By conquering the craving in my mind, I know I have won the battle against unwholesome thoughts.”

As he spoke he concentrated his mind on the water in the river, then on the idea of water itself, and reached a high mental state. In a sitting position he rose into the air. He preached these words of Truth to the king: “Defeating an enemy who returns to fight you again and again is no real victory. But if you defeat the unwholesomeness in your own mind, no one can take that true victory from you!”

While the king was listening to these words, all unwholesome thoughts left his mind. It occurred to him to give up the ordinary world and seek real peace and happiness. He asked, “Where are you going now, wise one?” He answered, “I am going to the Himalayas, oh king, to practice meditation.” The king said, “Please take me with you. I too wish to give up the common worldly life.” Lo and behold, as the king turned northward with the Shovel Wise Man, so did the entire army and all the royal ministers and attendants.

Soon the news reached the people of Benares that the king and all those with him were leaving the ordinary world and following the Shovel Wise Man to the Himalayas. Then all the people in the entire city of Benares followed them towards the northern mountains. Benares was empty!

This great migration of people came to the attention of the god Sakka, King of the Heaven of 33. Never had he seen so many giving up worldly power. He ordered the architect of the gods to build a dwelling place in the Himalayan forests for all these people.

When they arrived in the Himalayas, the Shovel Wise Man was the first to announce that he had given up the ordinary world for good. Then all those with him did the same. Never was so much worldly power given up, or renounced, at the same time.

The Shovel Wise Man developed what holy man call the ‘Four Heavenly States of Mind’. First is loving-kindness, tender affection for all. Second is feeling sympathy and pity for all those who suffer. Third is feeling happiness for all those who are joyful. And the fourth state is balance and calm, even in the face of difficulties or troubles.

He taught the others advanced meditation. With great effort they all gained high mental states, leading to rebirth in heaven worlds.

The moral is: Only one possession is enough to keep the mind from finding freedom.

Go in peace.

Healers of all kinds will benefit from knowing how the healing crystals work and how they are best used.  Perhaps you are already an intuitive healer, but now want to learn how crystals can help.  If you are an intuitive healer, crystals will work for you, but your own gift trumps all.

Healing needs to be understood.  What is healing?  You deserve a definition, or at least a clarification.  I define healing as the acceleration of form so that light can enter.

imageLet me explain.  Any form in its current state of density, your    physical body for example, will work with a specific range of light frequencies at a specific level of vibration.  If you take that same form, and accelerate it so that it vibrates faster, it will then work with more and higher ranges of light frequencies.  When a given form needs healing, whether that form is the physical body or one of the subtle bodies, the implication is that the form does not accept light very well.  If the flow of light into the form is impeded or blocked sufficiently, disease develops and healing becomes necessary.

The healing process involves the acceleration of form to open form to more and higher light frequencies.  Light then enters and does the healing. I call this “classic healing”.  A crystal that does healing in this classical sense, as I am defining it, accelerates form.  The light then comes in.  Thereafter, light does the healing.  Classic healing crystals are green with a few exceptions.

The myth that plagues crystals and healing is that crystals do the healing.  No!  Crystals do not do healing.  Crystals bring light.  Light does the healing.  Because getting this right is so important, let me repeat.  Crystals do not do healing.  Crystals bring and manipulate light.  Light does the healing.  The essence of the myth of healing and why so many crystals are erroneously labelled as healing crystals is found in the nature of divine light.  Quite simply, all crystals, with the odd exception, work with light.  Light does the healing.  Because all crystals work with light, what follows is that all crystals do healing.  Loosely saying that all crystals do healing is a truth, but only in the strictest sense of the language.  It is a meaningless truth.  Such a truth offers no understanding about how crystals work.

Another important perspective I need to mention briefly in passing is that healing is not an eternal process.  Once healed, the healing process is no longer necessary.  The analogy might be where a person receives a cut on the forearm.  Thereafter, she goes to the doctor and gets half a dozen stitches.  Two weeks later, the stitches are removed.  Scar tissue develops to complete the healing process.  The point is that the cut does not need to be healed all over again.  Healing is complete.  So, move on.

On to Bloodstone!

Bloodstone is a classic healer and an old Earth stone.  In Bloodstone’s case, the form that it accelerates is not actually form, but rather the etheric magnetic field.  Specifically, Bloodstone works with the innermost layers of the etheric body’s magnetic field.  The etheric magnetic field emanates out from the human body for a couple of feet or so.  If a person is sitting in quiet meditation, the field can be significantly more than a couple of feet.

So, how does Bloodstone work?

First, the physical body has a blockage somewhere.  Symptoms of a blockage that Bloodstone would work with include physical stiffness of movement, especially in the joints, and perhaps fatigue and paralysis.  Place Bloodstone wherever the problem is located in your body, such as right on the joint, right where the muscles are fatigued, right where the bruise might be, right at the place of paralysis, or wherever there is stiffness.  Place Bloodstone on that spot, and it will work just fine.

Alternatively, you can place it on the second chakra for the fact that it is a second chakra stone.  If you put a piece in your pocket and walk around with it, it will work equally as well.  Preferably use a smooth tumbled piece for the sake of comfort.  On the second chakra or in your pocket, Bloodstone’s energies are picked up by the etheric magnetic field and taken to the place that needs healing.

imageSecond, Bloodstone’s energies journey through the body.  They move around; they meander within your aura to different parts of the body, and they pulse as they go.  The stone’s energies continue to meander until they encounter a blockage.  Bloodstone then goes to work.  Initially, its energies simply accumulate around the blockage and continue to pulse.  The pulse strengthens because of the accumulation.  Accumulation continues until the pulses become strong enough to actually hammer their way through the density in the etheric magnetic field.  This is Bloodstone’s version of accelerating form.  Upon busting up the blockage, Bloodstone’s frequencies and the frequencies of the local area rush in to work their healing magic.  Because of the pulsing and hammering, I call Bloodstone the sledgehammer of the crystal world.

Bloodstone’s second chakra vibration is relatively low on the scale of high and low.  The density that it works to overcome is also lower on the scale.  The healing that Bloodstone offers applies to quite physically dense areas of the body.  Most often, a healing from Bloodstone is apparent to the stone’s user.  Bloodstone is an effective old-Earth, classic-healer that works directly with the etheric magnetic field to heal physical maladies.

Healing with light is subtle and should never be used as a substitute for sound advice from professional medical practitioners.
Love and Light,

For those of you that have asked questions about how to set your intentions for a new year, I would like to share a beautiful ritual that one of my friends sent to me several years ago.

I do not use this at New Years, however, this ritual is certainly right for that purpose.   I do use it to set intentions for any time.  It is powerful to use this ritual with the New Moon.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is the initial technique – Setting Your Intentions for 2018 or any other time:
You start by asking yourself 4 questions…
  1. What do I want this year in my personal life
  2. What do I want this year for my financial life
  3. What do I want this year for my business life
  4. What do I want this year for my spiritual life
Then you write your answers. I feel into my body to identify in my heart what I am being drawn to create from the year. The MOST IMPORTANT part is to write it as if it has already happened.
As an example / template, here is an excerpt in part of what Maureen Collins (an artist) wrote for the category of business:
I am so grateful that this year became such an amazing journey of openness and discovery in my business, as it moved into the corporate world and lecture stage larger than ever before. I was able to deliver my shared vision via “What If? The Movie” through divine energy to hundreds of thousands of souls that were not only open to the information but contributed to the content collectively… AND they further delivered it to many more through word of mouth. This wisdom known to us all was a huge success with so many experiencing heart felt shifts and changes through the material offered by many like-minded souls. It became a place of safety and conversation for all who viewed it, and grew to include new audiences of those opening to the materials being offered by me and other contributors. The opportunity for the community to converse with one another about their own positive belief and pattern changes was a blessing and a joy to my heart, showing me the possibilities for all communities of the world. I loved watching and hearing the shifts and changes clients and friends and family were experiencing as they also awakened to how amazing and powerful they truly are, and reveled in the moments they shared with others in the community …which triggered more openings and shifts and more sharing and so on. What fun… and so effortless and flowing… I felt like a kid again with all the discoveries…
You get the idea… write it as if it has already happened AND makes sure you include how you “felt” when it happened. Do this for each of the categories (there may be some overlap but the categories are designed to allow for specifics in those four areas of your life). This is a POWERFUL exercise that almost acts as plan for the year but flows through and creates a vibrational resonance with what you are desiring. You can do this over the next couple of days… I promise you it will really make a lovely impact. Then print it out post a couple of copies in places you will regularly see them to remind you what you are creating.
Ritual:  Burn and Release from Maureen Collins…
On a sheet of paper, I write out all of the things from the current year that I’ve outgrown, no longer want in my life,  no longer work for me, and anything else I feel I want to shed and leave behind.  On a separate piece of paper, I write all of the things I can think of and feel that I want to grow and expand in the new year.  I then burn each paper in separate dishes or shells, making sure all pieces are turned to ashes.  Then, when cooled, I put them into separate envelopes or containers (film canister, Ziploc baggie, etc.) and mark “to shed” and “to grow” on the container.   Around 5 minutes before midnight, I start visualizing all the things on the “to shed” list, and see them slip away, see them blown away and washed away, out of my energy field, out of my life and  out of my reality.  I go out side and pour the “to shed” ashes into my hand and let the wind scatter the ashes away and release them and all they re present, as the old year fades away.
After midnight, after blessing the new year, with the second container  “to grow”,  I visualize all of these goals, desires, etc. coming to fruition, to this level of reality.  I bring that envelope down to the garden, and with a stick dig a small hole, then plant these ashes in the earth, near a tree or in a special place, (for those in apartments, I encourage them to use their favorite houseplant).  The ashes are a reminder of the life cycle, the power of nature and the honoring of Mother Earth, that these seeds of hopes and dreams are nurtured into reality, in the coming year.   This is a ritual that I’ve shared with many people, and even had a group in Ireland do it one New Years!  You may want to try this and tweak it and do it a way that suits you.
Leave us a message to let us know how this process worked out for you.
Go in peace.
