There have been reports of the North Magnetic Pole heading towards Siberia at rates up to fifty miles per day yet the deviation of the compass from British Columbia is towards Greenland. What is really curious is that the aurora borealis is still on roughly the same circle it has been for the past seventy-five years.

The determination of magnetic north is done by a surface vessel using a dip compass. Where the dip compass is pointing directly down is magnetic north and at this time the ice breakers are following looping courses between the North Pole and Siberia but nearer to the North Pole.

In school we were taught the actual North Magnetic Pole was 2500 miles under the Arctic Ocean or Canada’s Arctic Islands and the South Magnetic Pole is between Antarctica and Australia nearer to Antarctica. The path of the magnetic field through the earth is bent.

Looking at the map of the Current Auroral Oval on www.spaceweather.com the center of the oval is on the northwest coast of Greenland. If the really effective magnetism deflecting solar winds for tens of thousands of miles into space is Greenland why is not that cited as the effective magnetic pole? My compass is pointing to Greenland not Siberia.

This is a dowsing question. When the reports do not make sense then dig out the pendulum and verify what the truth is.

UFOs, Project Blue Book, and 2019 Sightings

Many Questers have a keen interest in UFOs, because, after all, so much of it is not explained, and there are so many stories about individuals who have had a “UFO experience”. Now, there is a new TV show on the History Channel called, “Project Blue Book”, that started January 8 2019. Here is the write up on the show.

Dr. J. Allen Hynek is a brilliant but under appreciated college professor who is recruited by the U.S. Air Force to spearhead an operation called Project Blue Book. He is joined by his partner, Air Force Capt. Michael Quinn as they investigate UFO sightings around the country. They use science to determine what really happened to cause the sighting, and some cases cannot be explained. In those instances, Hynek believes he’s being duped by the government into a larger conspiracy that covers up the truth. The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) received a total of 734 UFO reports for the month of August 2018 where 464 originated in the U.S., according to statistics released September 1, 2018.

The U.S. was the top reporting country at 464; Canada at 64; and United Kingdom at 60.

The four leading report states in June were Texas, 40 reports; California, 36; Florida, 33; and Colorado with 23. Other states with 10 or more reports include: Pennsylvania, 21; Ohio and New York, 20; Illinois, 18; Michigan, 17; New Jersey, 15; Missouri, 14; Indiana and North Carolina, 13; Oregon and Washington, 12; and Nevada with 10.

The Sphere remains the most-reported UFO shape at 124 cases. A Circle shape was the second-most reported at 76, and a Disc shape was third with 59. In 206 cases, the object was less than 500 feet away, and 116 reports include testimony where the object was less than 100 feet.

Einstein is Right!

A survey of the stars using the Hubble Space Telescope has confirmed the accelerating expansion of the universe and Einstein’s ideas about gravity, a team of astronomers said. ………..

The survey, published this week in the journal Astronomy & Astrophysics, confirmed that the universe is expanding at an accelerating rate, propelled by a mysterious force called dark energy. “Our results confirmed that there is an unknown source of energy in the universe which is causing the cosmic expansion to speed up, stretching the dark matter further apart exactly as predicted by Einstein’s theory,” said Van Waerbeke in a statement.

The astronomers were able to find where the dark matter is using a technique called weak gravitational lensing, where light from distant galaxies is observed to bend as it travels through space.

The General Theory of Relativity, a manuscript published by Albert Einstein in 1915, holds that gravity arises because matter warps space and time, meaning that light bends near massive objects, such as the core of a galaxy.

As we near the Fall Conference called “PARACON”, attendees need to know why we are so focused on UFOs for this event. Different civilizations beyond ours are projected to be in existence in the Milky Way. fc = The fraction of civilizations that develop a technology that releases detectable signs of their existence into space.
L = The length of time such civilizations release detectable signals into space.

At the point when the equation is finished it would appear that this, N = 7 × 1 × 0.2 × 0.13 × 1 × 0.2 × 109 = 36.4 million (Wiki source) planets with civilizations.

How The Stars Were Made – An Aboriginal Legend

Rolla-Mano was the old man of the sea. The blue ocean, with all its wonderful treasures of glistening pearls, white foam and pink coral, belonged to him. In the depths of the sea, he ruled a kingdom of shadows and strange forms, to which the light of the sun descended in green and grey beams. The forests of this weird land were many trees of brown sea-kelp, whose long arms waved slowly to and fro with the ebb and flow of the water. Here and there were patches of sea grass, fine and soft as a snow maiden’s hair. In the shadow of the trees lurked a thousand terrors of the deep. In a dark rocky cave, a giant octopus spread its long, writhing tentacles in search of its prey, and gazed the while through the water with large lusterless eyes. In and out of the kelp a grey shark swam swiftly and without apparent motion, while bright-colored fish darted out of the path of danger. Across the rippled sand a great crab ambled awkwardly to its hiding place behind a white-fluted clam shell. And over all waved the long, brown arms of the sea kelp forest. Such was the kingdom of Rolla-Mano, the old man of the sea.

One day Rolla-Mano went to fish in a lonely mangrove swamp close to the sea shore. He caught many fish, and cooked them at a fire. While eating his meal he noticed two women approach him. Their beautiful bodies were as lithe and graceful as the wattle tree, and in their eyes was the soft light of the dusk. When they spoke, their voices were as sweet and low as the sighing of the night breeze through the reeds in the river. Rolla-Mano determined to capture them. With this intention he hid in the branches of the mangrove tree, and, when the women were close to him he threw his net over them. One, however, escaped by diving into the water. He was so enraged at her escape that he jumped in after her with a burning fire stick in his hand. As soon as the fire stick touched the water, the sparks hissed and scattered to the sky, where they remain as golden stars to this day.

Rolla-Mano did not capture the woman who dived into the dark waters of the swamp. After a fruitless search he returned to the shore and took the other woman to live with him for ever in the sky. She is the evening star. From her resting place, she gazes through the mists of eternity at the restless sea-the dark, mysterious kingdom of Rolla-Mano. On a clear summer night, when the sky is studded with golden stars, you will remember that they are the sparks from the fire stick of Rolla-Mano, and the beautiful evening star is the woman he captured in the trees of the mangrove swamp.
